In Memory
PRAYER OF ST. FRANCIS OF ASSI

Lord make me an instrument of Thy peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love.
Where there is injury, pardon.
Where there is doubt, faith.
Where there is despair, hope.
Where there is darkness, light.
Where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master; grant that I may so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love; for it is in giving that we receive,it is in pardoning that we are pardoned, and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
A Special Thanks at John J. Fercik

TREASURED ROSE

  Always in the springtime
When life comes forth anew
The roses bloom and flourish
Embracing morning's dew
  Emerging from the winter's chill
Held in death's grip no more
Strengthened now by resting
Through all storms gone before
  Clothed in perfect rosey hue
Poised in seasoned grace
that only living life can give
Each moment leaving trace
  Of treasure hidden deep inside
Wrapped in velvet folds
Shown always in the springtime
Proof dealth has lost it's hold

GOD'S PLAN

As I travel on my jouney,
Living life from day to day,
I see the joy in God's plan,
And give thanks when I pray.
But when the road gets rough
And my troubles seem to stay,
I forget that God has a plan
And I search for my own way.
I try to chart my own course,
Never knowing which way to turn;
All the time I waste on worry,
If only I would learn.
For when my troubles pass,
I can always see
It was all part of God's plan
And never up to me.

A MOTHER'S LOVE

Oh, heavenly God above
Show Mom your Love
Accept Irene at your Gate
Please don't be late.
Show Mom the flight of the dove
And the smoothness of a glove.
Please don't give her a shove
For she already knows your love.
Irene has accepted you on earth
From her first day of birth.
Please reunite Mom with her beloved husband Joe
and help her not to have a single woe.
Dear God, please make it your goal
To make Mom's body whole.
Take away all Mom's aches and pane
Help her walk witout a walker or cane.
Though her eyes grew dim
Restore her sight so she can read a hymn.
Remind Mom that she'll see her earthly family someday
And she'll be able to show us the way,
Farewell, Mother Dear
Do Not shed a tear.
Although you just left us on the 4th of June
We love you very much and will see you soon
Dedicated to Irene Kallok by her daughter
